Selected Sculptures 2015-2024
My sculptural practice is rooted in an intimate dialogue with the natural world and its unseen energies. Working primarily with found woodland materials, I respond to the inherent form of each piece of wood, allowing its shape to guide the emergence of small, feminine figures, forms that hover between nature spirits, guardians, and archetypal presences. My clay works extend this relationship through pit-firing in my garden, a direct conversation with earth, fire, and the elemental processes that shape all living things.. I also incorporate eggs from my own poultry, using them as material and symbol; vessels of potential, transformation, and alchemical becoming. These works are born of place and presence, where material and imagination converge in the quiet spaces between spirit and form drawing on ancient, magical ways of knowing, where making is both a material act and a quiet ritual of connection. (If you would like any further information on any works please feel free to contact me via e-mail.)
