This is an on going project that I do for fun and to relax my mind. Although i have not updated the blog in some time I still practice the art of black-out poetry and find it a key resource when making work.
The texts are created by crossing out words and sentences in books and magazines to create a new narrative; this is traditionally called Blackout Poetry, or Concrete Poetry. Below are just a few examples of how the process has evolved over the years.
